The installation «Gull Juju» (2013) by Lukas Felzmann is a complex meeting of scientific and artistic approaches. The photographer, just like a scientist, created an inventory of found objects in a nature preserve and now poses troubling questions: Are there still distinct borders between civilization and nature? How relative is our understanding of beauty? Are there non-judgmental observations? What kind of knowledge can further our understanding of life?
